[Leone brushes Biscotto out of the way as he reaches into his pocket for something, only to hesitate. The Arcanine whines and nudges his trainer's hand. Do it. Do it!!]

[Bruno pauses, glancing between Leone and Biscotto questioningly.]

[Leone bonks Biscotto's head so he stops, sighing a little as he pulls out the small black box.]

I...mm. It doesn't have to be a big deal, but--

[He is terribly bad at this sort of thing but he is trying as he takes Bruno's hand and presses the box into it. He can't actually ask. He can't. He's tried to practice and he can't.]

[Bruno's eyes widen as Leone presses the box into his hand and the opens the box, gasping quietly upon seeing the ring.]

Leone, is this...?

Only if you want it to be.

[He can't look directly at Bruno.]

If not, it can just be a gift.

I do want it to be.

[His eyes might be a little watery, but he is Not Acknowledging That as he takes the ring out of its box and looks at it for another moment or two.]

... Put it on me, Leone?

[A tiny, watery smile as Leone takes the ring to slip it on Bruno's finger.]

I meant it, when I said the only time I'm at ease is with you, Bruno.

[And Bruno holds his hand out so Leone can do so.]

... It's a little difficult to articulate exactly how much you mean to me, but... I think I can get close enough with this: you are my home, Leone. Simple as that.
